Thanks to the enhanced integration between the two platforms and the introduction of support for cross-border sales, Stripe customers based in over 30 countries can now activate Scalapay more easily and offer their customers a flexible payment experience in key Southern European markets.
The initiative further expands the solution’s availability within the Stripe ecosystem.
Among the main new features, Scalapay is now automatically available at checkout for eligible Stripe merchants in supported markets and categories, without the need for additional integrations. With Stripe’s dynamic payment methods, merchants can automatically offer the most relevant payment method to their customers, simplifying the activation process and improving the checkout experience.
The expansion of this partnership reflects the needs of an ever-evolving market. In Southern European countries, where access to credit remains more limited than in other regions and the use of debit and prepaid cards is particularly widespread, flexible payment solutions such as “Buy Now, Pay Later” are becoming an increasingly strategic tool for driving conversion, customer acquisition, and merchant growth.
