Milan, May 22, 2024 - Scalapay, the leading Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) platform in Southern Europe, and Adyen, the financial technology platform chosen by many companies worldwide, announce the launch of a strategic partnership that opens up new opportunities in the payments landscape. This collaboration will see Adyen process instalment payments made through Scalapay and allow its customers to access Scalapay's BNPL solution, which includes merchants such as Veralab, Douglas, Twinset, Alpitour, Best Western, and others.

Thanks to the synergy with Adyen, Scalapay can leverage a solid technological platform offering advanced transaction processing capabilities. Through sophisticated machine learning-based solutions, it will be possible to offer a seamless payment experience, increasing conversion rates at checkout and reducing fraud risk. At the same time, this partnership will allow Adyen customers to activate the Scalapay payment solution directly from the Adyen platform, thus benefiting from one of the most appreciated purchasing methods by consumers. In addition to meeting the growing demand from the latter, BNPL proves to be a highly advantageous option for merchants. According to a report by Scalapay, brands integrating this option into their website or physical store register an average increase of 48% in order value, an 11% increase in conversion rate, and a 55% increase in new customers.
